SynergEyes was facing multiple challenges with keeping track of each of their account and sales data for different contact lenses. MetaDesign Solutions (MDS) developed a windows service to sync their user and sales data and transfer that data to their CRM.

SynergEyes is a high-performance contact lens company focused exclusively on providing lenses for leading independent eye care professionals. SynergEyes hybrid contact lenses can transform vision for patients even with debilitating eye problems.

SynergEyes maintains an extensive database of clients as well as their inventory which can track of individual accounts and their requirements from SynergEyes.

Requirements

SynergEyes contacted MetaDesign Solutions to develop a solution which would modernize and streamline their operations. The client was facing several logistical issues as well as problems in keeping track of client orders and their own inventory.

SynergEyes required a software solution which would be able to achieve the following

  • A solution which could Synchronize data across platforms with their CRM
  • Synchronization of Leads and Conversation Data with Microsoft Dynamics
  • An intuitive Dashboard to visualize sales and other essential data

MDS Solution

MDS Business Analysts extensively studied the client’s business processes, roadmaps, regulatory requirements and legacy systems. Our subject matter experts and architects conducted joint discussions with the customer to completely ascertain the customer’s requirements. After consideration, the MDS team implemented a Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions tailored to their unique needs within a short timeframe. This custom solution provides Customer Service & Consultation Integration with CRM, Data Integration for sales and fits.

A dashboard was developed to view and manage this data effectively.

The MDS team created multiple software solutions to engage the following

  • Dashboards and Report

    Developed an intuitive interface which can visualize sales, lead funnel and city/state wise sales data for each lens for every account using SynergEyes optics.

  • Leads and Conversation Data Management

    Developed a sync utility which could synchronize all leads and customer conversation records to Microsoft Dynamics.

  • Data Synchronization

    Developed a Windows service which can synchronize user and sales data from the customer’s own sales database with their Microsoft Dynamics CRM. This service can also transfer data to track conversion, sales and leads in Dynamics CRM.

Challenges

SynergEyes legacy systems were extremely out of date. This was coupled with the fact that their client list was extensive. Managing such a high volume of data effectively was a challenge.

The scale of SynergEyes requirements and their global ambition required meticulous planning and analysis by MDS. The results of which led to the extensive solution provided to SynergEyes to effectively manage their logistics.

Business Impact

SynergEyes implementation in Microsoft Dynamics RM has allowed the organization to keep track of all sales and fits data for each lens for every account across different regions. This custom solution helped SynergEyes in making the process transparent. A major benefit of the solution that it was extremely quick to implement and would deliver results quickly. The revamped user experience with the Dashboard allowed SynergEyes’ employees to easily visualize real-time sales and fits data and therefore provide better customer service as a result.

The end result was a more robust and scalable system of operations which streamlined the client’s internal business requirements and management process.
